The Salone del Mobile in Milan has just ended, leaving us a rich legacy of inspiration .
The 2025 edition brought design back to a sensorial dimension, where matter, color and form dialogue more intensely than ever before.
The TaniniHome team obviously participated and came home with a selection of trends that will accompany us in the coming months.
1. Earthy colors and natural references
The soul of the earth becomes color.
Shades such as rust , warm orange , beige and burnt earth have dominated the palettes of many brands, with the aim of bringing calm and authenticity to domestic spaces.

Miniforms brought these colours to life with the Toblo coffee table, in hand-crafted terracotta , the perfect incarnation of imperfect beauty .
2. Back to the 70s: Audacity and Nostalgia
Retro energy blends with contemporary .
The charm of the 70s is found in bright orange , electric blue , chrome surfaces and metallic details .

Zanotta has masterfully mixed acid green, aubergine and burgundy, giving life to vibrant and dynamic interiors.

Tacchini has accentuated the vintage effect with the use of shiny chrome on seats with enveloping lines .

3. Sinuous and sculptural shapes
The geometries become soft , fluid , almost liquid .
Goodbye sharp edges, hello curves.
Tacchini has explored this language with furnishings that play with full and empty volumes , accompanying the gaze on a sensory journey .

Gervasoni amazed with tables with sculptural bases and material tops , with surfaces that seem to have been shaped from clay .

4. Materiality and sustainability
The design looks to nature , rediscovering authentic materials :
dark wood , stone , reeds , cork , hemp , cipollino marble and Alpine green .
The trend is clear: to create tactile, lived-in environments , where every material tells a story .
Luxury is transformed : from ostentation to the search for essential simplicity .
5. Warm and enveloping fabrics
Comfort is the watchword.
The surfaces become welcoming with bouclé wools , full-bodied velvets , textures that invite the touch .
Muuto played with an intense palette : bright red , chocolate , proposing sofas and seats that become refuges of style .

What do we take home from this Design Week?
A desire to return to matter , to colour , to imperfect form .
The design of the future is not just beautiful: it is alive , sustainable , emotional .
