Bernard Schottländer, born in 1924, is one of those European artists who have been able to combine training and dexterity, establishing itself in one of the most exciting decades of the last century experimental. Trained as a welder and engineer, taught at prestigious universities and its production of works has pieces made exclusively by hand and in limited edition. A great admirer of Alexander Calder, the inventor of kinetic art sculptures, he dedicates the collection of lamps Mantis, which take their name from one of the most famous works by Calder.
