The Danish company Design Letters was born in 2009. Before it was founded, it was impossible to find anything but multicolored, noisy letters for the door of the children’s rooms. Design Letters was the first company to revolutionize this product category with a radical different, tall, slim and one-colored typography, which in the most beautiful way highlights names, words, or quotes on the wall. Design Letters’ goal is to keep surprising design lovers with gorgeous usable products, they have never really seen before. Recently the company was given the permission to revive Arne Jacobsen’s typography on a beautiful porcelain cup. The letters were originally created in 1937 by the world renowned Danish architect Arne Jacobsen for Aarhus City Hall. Despite its 75 years, this Bauhaus inspired typography is still modern and fresh and looks good on porcelain cups.
