Conscious Chair 3162
Børge Mogensen Conscious Chair designed in 1958 by the renowned Danish furniture designer and architect Børge Mogensen. The chair is made of FSC wood and Mater Circular Materials, where an innovative technology allows us to upcycle fibre-based waste materials with upcycled plastic waste. It is the first time that a Børge Mogensen design has been relaunched in a different material than the original. The chair is available in three versions.
Seat height: 46 cm.
Base: FSC® Beech.
Backrest and seat: Mater Circular Material.
Coffee Waste Black and Light: Coffee shell waste from BKI’s coffee roasting process mixed with upcycled industrial plastic waste from GROHE and recycled fiberglass. Approx. 70% re-plast, 24% coffee shells and 6% recycled fiberglass.
Wood Waste Grey: Saw dust waste mixed with upcycled industrial plastic waste from GROHE and recycled fiberglass. Approx. 70% re-plast, 20% wood waste and 10% recycled fiberglass.
