The Crate Collection, originally designed by Dutch architect and designer Gerrit Rietveld in 1934, recently underwent a relaunch in collaboration with Rietveld Originals and HAY. The new version of the Crate Lounge Chair stays true to the original design with precisely balanced proportions and transparent construction to reduce production costs and optimize the assembly process.The Crate Lounge Chair is made of solid pine wood with a water-based lacquered finish in various colours.
Cushion in solution dyed Olefin with water repellent finish are available to be purchased.
