Designed by Jaime Hayon for &Tradition, Formakami is a pendant lamp with ivory-colored rice paper shade and black stained oak details and black fabric cable. Formakami is a collection of three pendant lamps of different shapes and sizes, a contemporary reinterpretation of traditional Asian lanterns that in the past illuminated both humble and sumptuous environments. As the designer himself explained, in the East, lanterns also drive away darkness in a symbolic sense, bringing light but above all hope. The pendant lamps are handcrafted and the thin, translucent rice paper of the lampshade emphasizes the brightness of the internal source.Light source: 2x E27 Max 60 Watt (not included).
