Tavole di Piave
The Venetian Serenissima Republic built its fleet and city of Venice with tree trunks from the Dolomites, for centuries transported to the Lagoon on rafts along the River Piave. The zattieri, the men who sailed the rafts down the river, are now a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Tavole del Piave is a large, pre-finished, 3-layer board for floors, false ceilings and cladding. The visible layer is in solid wood, available in several species and finishes. The project is based on a cult for tradition, a love of wood and a predilection for craftsmanship: prestige floor boarding with which Itlas has revived the flooring of days gone by, proposing the same quality and the same sensations.
