A lamp does not just light up a room. It defines its rhythm, choosing what to highlight and what to leave in the shadows. It is from this idea that our evening on September 17th was born, dedicated to DCW éditions in our Florence showroom.
For one evening, the spaces on Via Maragliano became a journey of light. Bathrooms, living areas, and the garden welcomed the DCW collections, showing how a luminous object can change the character of a space.
Munari: a suspended constellation
Above the bathtub, Munari captured everyone's gaze. Luminous discs balanced on slender arms, moving with the air and reflecting light in ever-changing ways. More than a chandelier, it is a delicate sculpture that engages in a dialogue with the purity of bathroom furnishings.
Tell Me Stories: the mirror that illuminates
Next to the sink, Tell Me Stories combines mirror and lighting into a single object. A soft, frontal light, designed for the face. A detail that makes a difference in the bathroom every day.

Iris: light becomes matter
The Iris lamps, in both table and floor totem versions, framed the garden window. The ribbon fabric diffuser filters the light, making it feel almost tactile. A circle that, when lit, becomes architecture.

Frechin: marble, metal, and glass
La Lampe Frechin pairs a marble and aluminum base with a borosilicate glass tube. Timeless materials, essential design. A lamp that looks as good in a living room as it does on an executive desk.

In the garden, cordless light
As evening fell, the garden lit up with portable lamps: Frechin à table, Knokke, and Boucle. Small sources of warm light, free from cords, to be moved wherever needed. Perfect for a terrace, an outdoor dinner, or a reading nook.

The story of the evening
The heart of the event was the meeting with our guests. We shared the history of DCW éditions and the philosophy that guides every project: to rediscover, re-edit, and create lamps destined to last. Guests then moved through the rooms, discovering the dialogue between light and matter up close.
The evening concluded with an aperitif, filled with conversation and lights shining late into the night. It was a way to experience the collections as they are meant to be experienced: within spaces, through relationships, and over time.

In summary
DCW éditions interprets light as part of the design, not as a mere accessory. From sculptural suspensions to portable lamps, every piece is made to last and to give character to spaces. On September 17th, we told that story in the most direct way possible: by turning them on.
DCW éditions lamps are waiting for you in our Florence showroom, at Via Maragliano 155, and on taninihome.com. Our team is at your disposal to help you choose the right light for every room.
